SOLENOID DRAWINGS

These drawings are made using a mechanical drawing board (currently 3rd generation) the machine allows me to drop a parallel straight edge with one hand leaving the other hand free to make a mark along the edge , the drawings are quick, rhythmic and meditative , the process questions constraints, unseen dogmas , cultures we operate in , will i draw for the outcome or will i give my body over to a rhythm and except the results , I find Its good to start the day with a solenoid drawing it helps me ask myself broader questions and focuses my mind.
